Mission

SailThe mission of Tomassi Financial Planning is to help my Loveland area clients make wise money decisions so that they can think better about their financial world and discover financial peace of mind.

I believe that the mission of helping my clients make wise financial decisions so that they can enjoy their life’s plans and experience financial peace of mind is best accomplished in five stages:

First, I listen closely to my clients.  I think good advice comes as a result of asking good questions and taking the time to learn about my clients’ lives.  I want to understand their interests, values, concerns, priorities, dreams, and financial experiences.  In essence, my goal is to be an excellent listener.

Second, I help my clients identify and prioritize their values and goals.  I think the best financial plans and investment strategies are intentionally designed and aligned with the life plans that my clients have envisioned and articulated. My goal is to help my clients realize those dreams.

Third, I analyze the data and I do the math.  Successful investment strategies require rigorous fundamental analyses of capital markets, economics, and investor behavior. Guessing disguised as intuition, emotional decision making, and gut reactions can have disastrous effects on financial plans and investment portfolios.  When it comes to my clients’ wealth and life plans, I prefer to take the time to gather data, conduct research, and do the math.  I help my clients thoroughly organize their financial documents so that I can then construct detailed financial plans and investment strategies based on facts and figures.  I pay close attention to the details because my clients in Loveland are depending on me to be accurate.

Fourth, we make adjustments.  My clients’ lives are in a persistent state of change.  Like a sailboat on a journey across the sea, the wind and waves of life will push the vessel off course from the intended destination.  To help my clients reach their goals I periodically rebalance their investment portfolios, update their financial plans as lives and laws change, and offer wise counsel on their financial matters.

Fifth, I stay sharp.  The world of investments and planning is complex and growing ever more so.  My clients rely on me to know the laws that impact their financial world, understand and interpret economic conditions, apply wisdom to the management of their investments, and maintain the highest degree of industry excellence.

Above all else, I know that financial planning and investment management is about trust.  To that end, the needs of my Loveland area clients take precedence over the needs of my firm.  My commitment is to always and in every situation place the best interests of my clients ahead of our own. I am a fiduciary, a trusted advisor to my clients.
